


  Diving into the Unknown

Sometimes you have to take that plunge into the darkness of the unknown to find the light.
Breaking the surface of the illusion is a tiny sword, multiple tears and burns in the painted cardboard background climaxing with an open doorway passage that leads the toy man to another
dimension. The actual wooden frame is an integral part of the trompe l'oeil illusion because of its age and asymetric quality. The die adds the element of chance.
