"Dear Drew and Kim;
Just gave my wife "Loves Eyes". I
hung it on the wall above our
fireplace when I went to bed
Christmas Eve. I replaced one of
our other artworks. When she arose
today she was truly excited to find
your work. The frame was perfect for
our living room as we live in a
house that was built in the early
1900s. I am writing to thank you for
making our Christmas special. Your
personal touch along with your
feelings are evident in your work
and your attention to me as a
customer. Thank you and Happy
Holidays and this very special day." Your Friend, Gary E
"Dear Kim and Drew:
Well, my husband, Gary, absolutely
made the most bonus points a
husband can get by surprising me
with your "Love Eyes" artist's proof,
framed in an oak mission frame, for
Christmas this year! I had seen this
picture and fallen in love with it
because it reminded me of one of
our bengal cats, Chance (Full
name: Give Peace a Chance -- he
has a peace sign on his right
shoulder and when he was first
born, he had a few problems and
needed extra prayers.)
The manner in which Gary offered
your wonderful artwork to me was
unique -- he hung it on the wall
above the fire place among our
other paintings. When he asked
me to open his Christmas gift, I
started looking under the tree and
we started playing that child's
game, "You're getting warmer. No,
you're colder. Now, you're really
warm!" until he got me in front of the
fire place.
All of a sudden I looked up, saw the
picture hanging, and I started
hopping up and down excitedly, with
tears running down my face! I think
I was exclaiming something like, "I
love it! I love it! Omigosh! I love it!"
Now, I gotta tell you, I had
abdominal surgery this month and
for me to forget that jumping up and
down like an idiot was risky and
painful, it had to be a great surprise
that made me act so carefree.
Drew and Kim, thank you for all of
your assistance at making this one
of the best Christmases I've ever
had! I can't stop looking at the
picture hanging on the wall. Gary
has told me how wonderful you both
are. I am hopeful that some day I
may get a chance to meet you both
and give you both big hugs!
P.S. - If I ever hit the lottery or get a
big inheritance, I would like to
commission you to do a portrait of
our entire cat family. I love your
work that much! " Thanks again! Denise E
I purchased your Love Eyes cat portrait and the minute I saw it, I felt as though my cat George was looking up at me like he always does when he wakes up from a nap. I also have a black and white cat named Jake - these are my two loves, and are very loving in return.
Your art captures the pure beauty and sole of these gorgeous creatures. You have a wonderful talent! I intend to buy more for me and gifts as my budget permits.
Thank you! Roberta |
